These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of messagetheuniverse.net and the Message The Universe service. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

About the service

Message The Universe provides an AI-powered conversational experience for reflection, intention-setting, personal growth, decision-making, and related self-development purposes. The service is designed to support reflection and personal agency.

Not professional or emergency services

Message The Universe is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency in the United States, call 911. If you are in suicidal crisis or emotional distress in the United States, call or text 988.

SMS program terms

If you separately opt in to receive SMS messages from Message The Universe, you agree to receive recurring conversational/customer-care text messages at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, you may receive a confirmation of your opt-out and no further recurring SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or email hello@messagetheuniverse.net.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You are responsible for providing a mobile number that you are authorized to use and for keeping it current.

Privacy

Your use of the service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information, including mobile information and SMS consent data.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, use it to violate applicable law or the rights of others, or use automated means to abuse or overload the service.

AI-generated content

Responses may be generated by artificial intelligence and can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular situation. You are responsible for evaluating information and making your own decisions. Do not rely on the service as the sole basis for decisions requiring professional judgment.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Message The Universe, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the service.
